IsBridgeUp ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by KarasSoft LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website at isbridgeup.com and our web application at app.isbridgeup.com (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Account information: When you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from the provider. We store only your first name and avatar for display purposes.
Reports and activity: Bridge status reports, confirmations, stream links, auction bids, and other actions you take within the Service.
Payment information: When you purchase points, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, bank account, or other financial details. Stripe's privacy policy governs that data.

Information collected automatically

Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and device type. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose.
View counts: We count page loads to display how many people have viewed a bridge status. This count is anonymous and not tied to individual users.
Location data: Only if you explicitly grant permission via your browser. Used solely to suggest nearby bridges. We do not track or store your location history.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect your surname (only first name from OAuth provider).
We do not collect precise GPS coordinates unless you opt in.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

2. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

Provide and maintain the Service (bridge status, points, auction, stream links).
Display your first name on status reports you submit.
Process point purchases via Stripe.
Send push notifications you have opted into (recheck requests, auction updates, status confirmations).
Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
Prevent abuse (cooldowns, daily caps, fraud detection).
Comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We share information only with:

Supabase (database and authentication provider) — stores account and app data in the US East region.
Stripe (payment processor) — processes point purchases.
Google Analytics (analytics) — collects anonymized usage data.
Cloudflare (hosting and CDN) — serves the application.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers. Local business ads displayed in the Service are managed by us and do not involve sharing your data with those businesses.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.

4. Data retention

Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Reports and activity: Retained indefinitely in anonymized form for historical analytics. Personally identifiable reports are deleted with your account.
Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax law. Managed by Stripe.
Analytics data: Google Analytics retains data for 14 months by default.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data (available in your profile).
Delete your account and all associated data (Settings → Sign out → Delete account).
Export your data upon request (email us).
Opt out of push notifications (browser settings or in-app notification preferences).
Opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via OAuth 2.0 providers, and database-level Row Level Security. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the Service or sending a push notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
